The fully automatic Lanuss LSB series machine is a heavy-duty industrial solution specifically designed for intensive descaling and slag removal on thick sheet metal. In a single pass, it cleans and smooths dense burrs and stubborn slag from plasma cutting, flame cutting, high-power laser cutting, or mechanical shearing. Thanks to its robust structure and multi-station configurations, it prepares metal surfaces for subsequent operations (bending, welding, painting) by removing even the most significant cutting defects with perfect uniformity.

Thanks to its robust structure and multi-station configurations, it prepares metal surfaces for subsequent operations (bending, welding, painting) by removing even the most significant cutting defects with perfect uniformity.

Main features

  • Versatile tool combination: Equipped with wide and narrow abrasive belts that can be combined on one or more stations to perform sandblasting, aggressive deburring and surface polishing as required.
  • Versatile processing: Capable of flexible configurations offering uniform surface and contour processing in a single pass (single-sided or double-sided processing options available depending on the model).
  • Three conveying and feeding options:
    • Conveyor belt + rubber pressure rollers: Ideal for standard parts (length > 150 mm).
    • Strong magnetic adsorption: Dedicated to carbon steel parts (dimensions > 30 x 30 mm).
    • Vacuum adsorption: To firmly hold stainless steel, aluminum or copper (dimensions > 50 x 50 mm).
  • Ultra-robust design: Heavy mechanical structure developed to absorb vibrations related to grinding and hammering slag over thick thicknesses.
  • Intelligent PLC control: Precise adjustment of all production parameters (strip speeds and feed) via an intuitive touch interface.
